Dr. Morris received the B.A. degree in Greek from the University of Florida in 1966, M.A. in Latin from Illinois State University in 1968, and the Ph.D. in Classics from the University of Cincinnati in 1978. After teaching Greek and Latin at Orange Park High School in Orange Park, FL from 1973 to 1978, he joined the faculty of the College of Charleston in 1978. A generalist who taught all levels of courses in Greek and Latin as well as courses in classical civilization he retired in May, 2010. He continues to serve as Director of the Charleston Latin Program.
Special Interests: Teaching Latin in Elementary and Middle School and Homer
